One of the lessons I wish I learned earlier in life was to never be afraid of trying something new. The longing for adventure comes naturally to some people, but I don't have much of that in my blood.
It's easy to fall into the comfortable embrace of familiar surroundings.
Given the choice between a known and an unknown, I always opted for the less risky and more predictable option; perhaps this is why I became an engineer.
However, in predominately choosing this route I've come to realize that I've missed a great many opportunities.
The more I think about it, though, the more I realize that
